Hey guys, when was the Local Marketers Sales Kit last updated? Because I know the presentation would have to be vastly changed from 2012 to still be effective. Thanks! Looking to purchase today.

Our content is updated regularly. The current PPT presentation in the sales kit is using traditional B2B solution sales strategy. The process is the same today as it was in the 80’s when introduced by Zerox. As far as SEO, some say it changes very quickly. Us on the other hand suggest otherwise. We do not link build, or use many tools. We create real marketing material and distribute that to reputable sources such as the local news paper or industry trade publications.

The changes in the presentation that are necessary are is some of the terminology such as Google+, Google My Business and Google Local. However our SEO strategy follows the exact same principals we developed in 2009. As much as the industry hates algorithm updates, we love them. Our clients never get ‘hit’ and frequently updates improve our rankings.

However, for us selling information, it’s like sex. Sex does sell. So does the new shiny object, and selling changes. But respectfully, we can’t sell that shiny object because there is no secret. Just develop quality marketing material and effectively distribute. Period.
